Sidmouth

'A town caught still in a timeless charm' – John Betjeman

'Delightful. A real gem. Beautifully preserved' – Jill Archer

Location map of SidmouthSidmouth is a small Regency seaside town on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast in East Devon, between Exmouth and Lyme Regis, surrounded by red sandstone cliffs and the green hills of the Sid Valley. As well as the Festival there are beaches to lie on, rock pools to explore and the sea to swim in. Most visitors have great intentions of venturing further afield, but few actually get round to it!

Nearest railway stations are at Exeter and Honiton and there are frequent bus services from both.

Accommodation

The Festival operates its own camp site (see right). For details of other campsites and a vast range of accommodation in the Sidmouth area please contact the Tourist Information Centre, Ham Lane, Sidmouth EX10 8XR, telephone 01395 516441 or visit www.visitsidmouth.co.uk or

The Camp Site is restricted to full week and day season ticket holders for the appropriate night(s), supporters club members and people who have bought event tickets in advance, for the night(s) of the event(s) only. Camping is free for children under 12 if accompanied by an adult. Family camping tickets are available for two adults and up to three youths.
